Baptism of infants and children under the age of seven is generally celebrated during Mass on the first Sunday of each month. For a significant pastoral reason, baptisms may also take place at 12:15 p.m. on the third Sunday of the month. During the season of Lent, baptisms are conducted only in case of emergency. Parents must attend a baptismal preparation session before the baptism of their first child. This session is also recommended for godparents. Baptismal preparation sessions are held on the second Sunday of each month (except during the season of Lent) at 10:00 a.m. Please call the parish office (281-5105) at least three months before the birth of your child to register for these sessions and to schedule your child's baptism. CONFIRMATION FIRST EUCHARIST AND FIRST RECONCILIATION
Celebrating the Sacrament of Marriage with our parishioners is an especially joyous and significant part of our ministry that requires careful preparation. Please contact the parish at least six months prior to the desired wedding date. Our parish has a wedding policy as a resource for planning the celebration. |

ANNOINTING OF THE SICK COMMUNION FOR THE SICK OR HOMEBOUND PRIVATE DEVOTIONS
Your time and talents are always needed to make our life of communal prayer possible. Please contact Rick Byers at 281-5105 (ext. 153) to inquire about serving as a liturgical minister. Mission St. Raymond's parish in the city of San Carlos, district of Alzatate, Guatemala, is our sister parish. The relationship dates to 1986 and was established through the efforts of Fr. Vince Haselhorst and Missions International. Fr. Vince had previously served as a pastor in El Progresso, Guastetoya, Guatemala for 6 1/2 years in the 1960's.On the second Sunday of each month, the parishioners of Immaculate Conception parish make a special offering for the work of the Church in St. Raymond’s. The children of our school and parish school of religion also contribute throughout the year for the sake of their brothers and sisters in Guatemala. St. Raymond’s current pastor, Pe. Mario Portillo, frequently expresses his appreciation for Immaculate Conception’s efforts. Our annual offering is ten times what the parish in Guatemala would be able to achieve on their own and has allowed for the development of many necessary ministries. A 1998 "Journey of Friendship" to St. Raymond's by three of our parishioners found the Spirit making wonderful changes in the community through our help. Some help the Missions by going, some by giving. |
