The Catholic faith and practices offer a path to becoming the best version of yourself. Through Tradition and Scripture we believe in a loving God who graces us through Sacraments, community, and individual prayer (and many other ways). We believe that worship and service are both essential elements of an active faith.
We recognize that the journey to becoming Catholic is often a long and winding road. We seek to help people understand the Church’s teachings and practices through a process that begins very personally and informally. The formal process for entering the Catholic faith is named RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). This ritual based process includes learning and community. Sessions begin in late September/early October and continue through Lent. The first rite is held at the end of November. It reaches its climax in the reception of Sacraments at the Easter Vigil. The learning sessions include prayer, Scripture, and the basic teachings of the Catholic Faith. For more information contact Lizanne Young.
